Q: Why Choose Anne Jakob Photography?

A: I am very aware that everyone has a “story” and not in a cliche’ kind of way… like a real story. Life isn’t always pretty, it sure isn’t always easy… and no matter what the story is, whether I really know the details or not… I capture it. I like to think my photography is the way to capture a FEELING and a MOMENT. It isn’t about your hair or your makeup. It’s about YOU and YOUR STORY.

Q: What if I’m not comfortable with having my picture taken?

A: You don’t have to be a model: Not every senior who comes to me loves the idea of getting in front of the camera. Maybe you or your loved one can only see the flaws like pimples, a few extra pounds, or even braces that haven’t run their course yet. Maybe you feel insecure about posing, and feel like you don’t know what to do with your hands. I get it! I work hard so you don’t have to, and I believe EVERY person I work with can get photos they feel truly confident about. No modeling experience necessary, I promise!

Q: Can other people be in my photos?

A: I do more than just senior photos: There’s nothing more awesome than bonding with a photographer who can walk with you through the milestones in your life. The right photographer gets to know you and your family. I offer family sessions, couples sessions, pet photography, and of course, our senior experience. If you or your graduate are planning to book with me, please consider booking a family session before your kiddo graduates… there’s nothing better than keepsake images to remember this time.

Q: When do you schedule your sessions?

A: My senior sessions include 2 hours of shooting time. I block out 3 hours to allow for outfit, hair and makeup, and location changes. Each senior is allowed 3-4 outfits and 2 locations. I schedule my senior sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I reserve one Saturday session a month upon special request. My Saturday sessions book fast and include an additional $100 session fee. Remember, your session will begin about three hours before the sun sets. Typically your session would begin at 1:00 pm during late fall and winter, and 2:30 in the spring and early fall, and 3:30 in the summer.

Q: How do I book a session with you?

A: The best thing you can do is BOOK YOUR SESSION EARLY!
I book my sessions out a few months in advance and have to turn seniors away every year because I’m completely sold out by the Spring of your graduating year! When you decide to book your session with me, email me or fill out my contact form (linked below) and let me know you'd like to book a senior session! I’ll contact you to discuss availability and the details. Then you'll submit your session retainer fee and complete your client contract!

Q: What types of payments do you accept?

A: I accept most major credit and debit cards, checks and cash.

A $250 session retainer is due immediately upon booking your scheduled session. This ensures that your date is yours only and not open for any other clients. Digital file collections start at $300 depending on the number of images you choose. Payment plans are available upon request.

Session pricing is for my time and talent only and does not include any prints or products. We have awesome collections to make the most out of your portrait investment.
